After more than eight years on Galaxy FM, Arthur D’Vaccine has decided to leave the station and make way for new blood in Roger Otis. (Roger Otis replaces Arthur D’Vaccine at Galaxy FM)
Arthur Sunday Ruhabwooba, better known as Arthur D’Vaccine, started working at Kansanga-based Galaxy FM earlier this week.
While signing off, the witty radio host mentioned that he has other commitments that will require his full attention and may prevent him from continuing with the ‘Night Breeze’ show.
Arthur thanked his fans in his farewell message for making his time at Galaxy FM worthwhile over the past eight years.
It’s been an incredible journey walking with you every night from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. “The majority of you have provided me with the best audience I’ve ever had,” Arthur said.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am attempting to focus on new engagements and may be unable to serve you on time,” he added.
Arthur also welcomed the new Otis, whom he described as a “mighty man,” and invited the listeners to accompany him on his journey to the station.
Roger Otis, a new mighty man, will step into my shoes. As I bid you farewell from the show for the time being, I’m entrusting you to Roger. Accept him and accompany him on this exciting journey.
Roger Otis is not a new face at the station, but the ‘Night Breeze’ show is undoubtedly a new challenge for him – one that he is eager to accept.
On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, the self-proclaimed “Fresh Prince” was officially introduced as the show’s new host.
He expressed his excitement about the new challenge and promised to give it his all on the show.
Persona Change New Challenge, New Chapter The Shift has begun; I’ve been dancing in the background and am now on the frontlines.
The relay handoff is now in my hands. The Fresh Prince of The Night Breeze will keep you awake as we discuss Love, Sex, and Relationships.
